Sanitary Sewer

The Village has over 7.5 miles of sanitary sewer lines. Approximately 20% of the sewer lines are cleaned and televised yearly. The Village also owns and maintains one lift station. All the sewage in the sewer lines travels to Northern Moraine Utility in Glenbeulah where it is treated. The Village owns a two-thirds stake in Northern Moraine Utility.

Sewer Billing

Sewer is billed quarterly with the water. The bills are mailed on approximately the 15th of January, April, July, and October.

The current sewer rates are as follows:

• $4.75 per 100 cubic feet of water consumption + $20 base fee per quarter.
• If paid after the due date, a penalty of 1% per month is assessed on water and sewer bills.

The Elkhart Lake Village Board will be increasing the sewer rates effective January 1, 2016.  The new rate will be $5.50 per 100 cubic feet of water consumption and $23.00 meter fee per quarter.

Please contact the Village Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer’s Office at (920) 876-2122 or clerk@elkhartlakewi.gov if you have questions related to sewer billing.
