ELKHART LAKE PARKS
Fireman’s Park
Fireman’s Park is located at 411 S. Lake Street. This park is owned by the Fire Department, while managed by a fireman and his family. This is a seasonal recreational area with a sand beach, concession stand, picnic tables, grills and sand volleyball courts. People are able to reserve the sheltered area for outdoor events. The park opens at 10 am during the season. Admission is $3/adult and $1/child 12 and under.
June Vollrath Park
June Vollrath Park is located at 290 N. Lincoln Street. This facility opened in 2002 and is a sport complex with baseball & softball fields, playground equipment, volleyball courts, basketball courts, horse shoe pit, ice skating rink in winter, picnic area and a pavilion with restrooms. It is the home field for the Elkhart Lake Glenbeulah Athletic Association (ELGAA), as well as the High School softball and baseball teams. The park also offers an ice rink during the winter months. Jeanette Moioffer Park
Jeanette Moioffer Park is located at 300 Kettleview Court. Opening in 2014, this is Elkhart Lake’s newest park. Its namesake, Jeanette Moioffer, was the Village Clerk-Treasurer for over 30 years. This park has a path for non-motorized vehicles that connects the Moraine/Crestwood Subdivision with June Vollrath Park. While still in the construction phase, this park will feature tree identification plaques, as well as benches to allow for bird-watching.
Lions Park
Lions Park is located at 319 Moraine Drive. This is a family park with plenty of open space, playground equipment and picnic area. The park also offers a pavilion with restrooms that is available for use on a first-come basis. The equipment at this park is provided by the Elkhart Lake Lions Club.
Memorial Park
Memorial Park is located at 185 Chicago Street, at the corners of Chicago and Lincoln Streets. Memorial park is a passive park which features a beautiful tribute to the men and women of the Elkhart Lake area who have served in the armed forces of this great nation. If you or someone you know is interested in having a brick added to the memorial please contact Gary Kegler at 920-876-3195. On Memorial Day weekend, the Village and the Lions Club hold a Memorial Day Tribute Program in this park.
Village Beach
This sandy beach with swimming, grassy seating area and restrooms is only available to Village and school district residents with beach passes. No pets or glass containers are allowed on the Village Beach. Beach passes are for sale to Village and school district residents at the Village Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer’s Office at 40 Pine Street, Elkhart Lake. The Elkhart Lake Police Department monitors the Village Beach to ensure everyone who is at the beach has the appropriate beach pass.
Village Square Park
Village Square Park is located in the heart of the downtown, along N. Lake and Rhine Streets. Village Square Park offers a shady spot to eat lunch, use the playground equipment or play in the sandbox. This is a great park for families and is adjacent to the Elkhart Lake Public Library.
Pledge Allegiance
Square Park is home to one of only 15 editions commissioned of the beautiful bronze Pledge Allegiance Sculpture. Pledge Allegiance was donated to the Village by Tom & Bea Hollfelder in 2011. This sculpture was made by world renowned artist Glenna Goodacre, who is famous for creating a Woman’s Vietnam Memorial in Washington D.C. The Village asks that people refrain from climbing on the statue. You are welcome to take pictures, but please do not climb on the figures.
